My Story
As a sports enthusiast, competition runs through my veins like a steady heartbeat. From the crack of a baseball bat to the roar of a stadium, I thrive on the thrill of the game, both as a fan and a participant. But beyond the confines of the field, my passion for adventure knows no bounds. Having explored over 40 countries across all seven continents, I've discovered that the world is my arena, and every journey is a new challenge waiting to be conquered. From scaling the moderate trails of the Santa Monica Mountains to ascending to the summit of Kilimanjaro, each step has been a testament to my determination and love for exploration. Yet amidst all these adventures, my greatest roles remain those of a father, a husband, and a son. They are the anchors that ground me, reminding me that the truest victories are found not in the heights we reach, but in the hearts we touch along the way.
Travel
My three favorite trips have left an indelible mark on my soul, each offering unique experiences that have enriched my life beyond measure. South Africa captivated me with its blend of vibrant culture and breathtaking landscapes, especially during peaceful safaris in its national parks. Having ventured there twice, alongside a visit to Tanzania, Africa's allure beckons me back time and again. Antarctica, the final frontier of the seven continents, unveiled a world of unparalleled beauty and wonder. From kayaking amidst towering icebergs to swimming in its icy waters, every moment felt like a glimpse into the extraordinary. And then there's Iceland, a land of otherworldly landscapes where every day brought a new adventure. Traveling the Ring Road, hand in hand with the woman who would become my wife, was a journey of discovery and love amidst nature's grandeur. These trips have shaped my perspective, reminding me of the preciousness of our world and the boundless joy of exploration.
Sports
From the age of six, soccer has been more than just a sport for me—it's been a lifelong passion. Starting as an avid player, I dedicated myself year-round, eventually earning a Division 1 Scholarship offer. Even as I entered my 40s, I never lost the love for the game, and now, I aim to pass on this fervor to the next generation. Transitioning from engineering to Sports Management in college was a natural choice, aligning my academic pursuits with my true passion. One unforgettable highlight was interning courtside during the NBA Finals—an experience that solidified my path. A decade-long journey with Topps allowed me to turn my passion into a career, making each workday exciting and enjoyable. Beyond the confines of the office, I've sought adventure in physical challenges, from scaling Half Dome to trekking through Machu Pichu and reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro. Today, whether I'm competing in softball or running in the park with my son, sports and activity remain central to my life, always fueling my spirit with energy and joy.
Family & Friends
Family is the cornerstone of my life, enriching every moment with profound meaning and joy. Fatherhood has gifted me the extraordinary privilege of nurturing and guiding my son, witnessing his growth and development with boundless love and pride. Despite being just three years old, every day spent with him has been an unparalleled journey of discovery and wonder. Marriage has opened my eyes to new perspectives, blending my experiences with those of my partner to create a tapestry of shared memories and adventures. Becoming a father has brought my journey full circle, allowing me to appreciate the lessons learned from my own parents while embracing the role of both student and teacher. Moreover, the bonds forged with close friends have added immeasurable value to my life, reminding me of the importance of human connection and support. Together, these cherished relationships illuminate the path of my life, infusing each moment with warmth, fulfillment, and boundless positivity.
